2010 Festivals

All Tomorrows Parties : 7th to 9th May
This is curated by Matt Groening and is held at Butlins at Minehead so a very different festival. Looking forward to seeing Spiritualised and The XX. Iggy and the Stooges headline.
Bearded Theory: 14th and 16th May
Never to be forgotten - last year the stage collapsed and I was right there at the front with just a few people - photos here. So looking forward to going this year - New Model Army, Dreadzone, Sub Giant and many more.
Pendulum: 29th May
Not a festival, just a gig but we both love Pendulum. We've seen them loads of times (Creamfields, Bestival, LLandudno, Wolverhampton) and 3 DJ sets (Rockness, Beautiful Days and Get Loaded in the Park) and will also be seeing them as support to The Prodigy. This is their tour to go with their new album and we'll be seeing them at Cardiff and Swindon.
Sunrise Festival: 3rd - 6th June
We went to Sunrise at The Big Chill a couple of years ago and loved the vibe so will be there this year. Not big names bands but I am looking forward to Zion Train, Banco de Gaia and Gentlemans Dub Club.
Rockness: 11th - 13th June
Held on the banks of Loch Ness and 500 miles there, and back! The most amazing site, we were there last year and so looking forward to this year. Fatboy Slim, The Strokes, Leftfield, Pendulum, 2 Many DJs, Friendly Fire, Vampire Weekend, Plan B and more.
2000 Trees, Cheltenham
What a lovely small festival and close to home so we didn't need to camp. Frank Turner headlined on Friday - I love Frank! Saw some great bands I'd never heard of, particulalry loved The Dawn Chorus.
V Festival @ Stafford : 21st - 22nd August
The past years we have been to Beautiful Days, but wanted a change. We've never done V and I know it's big and commercial (but they all are, Bestival may be quirky but is very commercial). We're looking forward to Kasabian and Kings of Leon.
Muse: 4th September
We saw Muse twice last year, firstly at their homecoming gig at Teignmouth and then at Birmingham at the NIA. Looking forward to seeing them at Lancashire Cricket Ground. Going with my nephew Oli.
